The theme we are using doesn’t automatically place a byline on your posts, so we have been using the “Categories” tag to identify ourselves (or you can just sign the post). You will find the “Categories” options just to the right of where you compose your posts.

My main concern with making the Blogroll too cumbersome is that it might slow down the download time for those who only have a dial-up connection.
WP ate one of my comments earlier today as well, when I got tired of waiting for it to upload and closed the window. I hope this won’t be too much of a problem.
We don’t have any filters in place right now except for Askimet, which should help protect us from spam. I think we can disable Askimet if we need to.

Why not? I don’t get the question. Besides, I do not believe there is such a thing as obscenity. “Obscenity is in the eye of the condemner.” Just because this anonymous Republican didn’t like it does not mean other, more “open-minded” people wouldn’t.
And about this anonymity. I, for one, have been thoroughly disgusted by it in our own CCM (Corporate-Controlled media), but now they’re doing it over there (UK), too, with our politicians? If a politician does not wish to have his or her name attached to a comment, then they shouldn’t make a comment to the press.
Our involvement in Iraq was directly related to anonymous sources. They fed things to the CCM and the CCM published teh comments anonymously. Then those very same people (I’m sure) pointed to the articles and stories in the CCM and said, “Look, even the NYT/WaPo/LAT is saying it.” Only what those papers were saying is what that same person fed them “anonymously.” Personally, in light of what we now know were tons of lies about Iraq, I think that every Washington reporter should go through his or her notes and publish the names of every single anonymous source that gave them information that turned out to be false. Start with Cheney and Rove. What’s the worst that would happen to those reporters? They would no longer have access to people who give them bad information?
I guess I’ll find out how long before my car is fixed. (That’s why I’m here during the day.)

Yes, years of having to deal with TP’s fuck filter has conditioned me to use * and ! and stupid shit.
I know there are some people that don’t approve of cussing, but that is how I grew up. My parents didn’t cuss. It was everybody in school and all my friends around me.
It is just the way I talk and yes, I do it in real life too. I don’t pretend to be somebody different on the Internet. I don’t use my real name, because I am a public figure. I like my job and plan on keeping it. So, I am anonymous….for now.

I can change the number of links a comment can have before it is marked as spam. I will set it at “3″ for now, so that a comment can have up to 3 links.
