Tears of a Clown
from Crooks and Liars:
“I’ve got God’s shoulder to cry on. And I cry a lot. I do a lot of crying in this job. I’ll bet I’ve shed more tears than you can count, as president,” Bush told Draper.
Bush admits to Robert Draper, author of the book “Dead Certain”, that he cries. Really…?
That would be refreshing if (a) it were actually true, and (b) they were not crocodile tears, you know, tears on cue, and (c) he were actually crying out of shame for what he has wrought on this country – for taking us into an unnecessary war through lies and manipulation resulting in the needless deaths and disabling of thousands of American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, and the tears were not for himself. I wouldn’t want to see just a single tear trickling down his cheek, I would hope to see him down on his knees, sobbing inconsolably.
It would be reassuring if his tears originated from his experience of empathy, for all the pain and damage he has caused so many over the last 7 years. I would hope the tears would have something to do with experiencing guilt for all the massive loss of life, trust, and treasure.
Mr. Bush, I would hope that you actually have a heart and a soul. To understand what that really means, you would first have to have a conscience. I am not convinced that you do.

Alot of us have been crying for the last 7 years while this clown has been getting our Soldiers killed over lies, trashing this Country and the Constitution.
I would like to see Bush crying on the walk to the gallows at the Hauge.

The only thing Bush cries about is when his war profits take a dip.

Spudge boy says “The only thing Bush cries about is when his war profits take a dip.”
or when Babs makes him take a bath before naptime.

Is it just me, or is his face blocked out?

lol I fixed it. I think. Unless they were going for the blindfolded look. Which, wouldn’t be bad…

I’ve been trying to think of something clever to post.
But this fucker just leaves me speechless with anger and disgust.

Now we can see his little crocadile tears. Just like when he was a cheerleader in Prep school when “the hot chic” laughed and said “your Daddy doesn’t have THAT much money!”

You ever see his cheerleader pictures gorn? they are so funny next to the staged “George on the back of a pick-up” ones

I’m guessing that God’s been doing the crying given how often this crowd has misused him to justify their greed for power and money.

No, I haven’t seen those pictures. Sounds like a good post to the “Hilarious” category.

How about a “cheerleader Bush” picture next to “codpiece Bush” picture? Title options – “Barbie and Ken”, “The Ultimate Flip-Flop”, “King and Queen”.

I like that. I’ll go get them. Hey, maybe we now know why Chis Mathews is so hot for him.

About six months ago I read a book by Frank Rich called “The Greatest Story Ever Sold”. Since I finished it I have not bought another story, statement, or photo op these guys have tried to put out. It is all staged and meant to sell what they want people to believe, from Bush’s purchasing that Crawford spread and “re-inventing himself as a retro-Texan” (though it was a non-working ranch that was more like a “stage set”) before he decided to run for President so that he would have the appearance of of good ole boy rancher that you would want to throw back a beer with, to Monday’s stupid photo-op with the soldiers in Iraq in front of the vehicles making it look like he was out and about in Iraq when in actuality he never left the airport. The book is great and there are MANY examples of these charades.

Bush has no credibility and no shame.

If the bastard is looking for sympathy he’s going to have to find a planet where people haven’t heard about him already. Because nobody on Earth should give a shit how bad he feels.

I think he’s been crying because no one understands him. Rove and Fredo are leaving, and the country just doesn’t appreciate how magnificent he is, what a shining light of Truth and Strength he is. Hell, it gets me all misty just thinking about it.

TPZoo should be able to get a lot of use out of that “Hypocrisy” tag.

Keep crying W, we’ll let you know when you’ve cried enough. You only think you’ve got God’s shoulder. That’s Satan giving you orders, jackass.
September 5, 2007 at 7:50 pm
gummitch, you are one sentimental sap.
September 5, 2007 at 7:52 pm
WTF is he crying about?
September 5, 2007 at 7:59 pm
Really dave, he should see how we feel, not to mention the families of the troops.
September 5, 2007 at 8:00 pm
It was probably a photo op meant to sell his sensitive softer side.

“Tears? Really..?”
Nah, it’s condensation. Air humidity makes the trick.

He has “God’s shoulder to cry on”?
WTF are those horns sticking up out of God’s head there!
