Armed Madhouse: Don’t become a victim of voter fraud in 2008
Book review by Mark Groubert
via: Crooks and Liars
Armed Madhouse, which came out in 2006, has been re-released in paperback with a new bonus chapter/afterward entitled Busted …and How to Steal Back Your Vote. It is mandatory reading for anyone interested in how the Republicans are going to steal the next election in 2008. The Chicago Tribune said it is composed of, “stories so relevant they threaten to alter history.” Powerful stuff.
Palast is also the author of The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, a New York Times bestseller and is a frequent guest on Air America Radio with Randi Rhodes and Robert Kennedy, Jr.
You can read the rest of this review at Crooks and Liars.
I have my copy of this book but haven’t had the chance to sit down and read it yet. It is next on my list of things to do. I have seen a number on interviews on video with Mr. Palast and have read many of his articles, and I have the utmost respect and gratitude for him for all he has done to bring the voter fraud issues of 2000 and 2004 to light. He is now sounding the warning bells of what is coming with the 2008 elections. I hope people take heed and do something before we get to November of 2008 and it is too late.

This sounds like a great book. I will have to pick up a copy. Greg Palast has a lot of good information, so I imagine this book is filled with useful stuff.

How dare someone suggest an election may have lost integrity.

My greatest fear is that W will find a means to cancel or invalidate the elections in the 2008 cycle.

That was the first thing I thought of when I read a yesterday (or whenever it was) that Putin had disbanded his government and was going to appoint another Prime Minister.
What if Bush just decided to disband Congress? Everyone thinks it couldn’t happen here. Why not? He has already disbanded so many things..

I would suggest that every one of us read the novel referenced in this link.

It hit the street on September 4th, this year, in paperback, so you should be able to request it at your local library in hardcover as well. About 25% of the passages are gut wrenching.

My greatest fear is that people won’t realize that the election is meaningless if we allow the MSM to choose our candidates for us.
Giuliani and Clinton are the same as Bush.

Cool. I have an autographed copy of this book waiting for me to read it.
Now if I could only find a man with chickens in his yard….
It’s too much to hope for, only the terrorists want me now….

Walt, that was one of the best books I have read so far on all that has gone on. I learned the most from that book.

For any of you still wondering, Philip Zelikow was just on PBS selling Bush’s speech as the new “new way forward”.
Complete with 9/11 references and terrorists and Iran supporting al Qaeda rhetoric.
He feels the president should press for a stronger position in Iraq to show our determination.
and he says “everyone agrees” we are there for the long haul.
Philip Zelikow was the Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission and he picked which issues were investigated and by whom. Then he ran everything by the White House before it was submitted to the rest of the Commissioners.

Walt, my husband is reading it now.
I actually did a review (well, more of a plug) for it here at the beginning of our blog.
