At about 10:30 in, ‘the purpose of the surge was to prevent damage to the Republican Party and further damage to the White House.’
Let’s face it. Our young women and men are dying for politics.
And, I’m not letting Democrats off the hook on this either. They could have shut down the war by cutting off the funding.
They could have impeached Bush and Cheney. (regardless of whether the Senate would or would not vote to convict.)
