It’s difficult to know exactly which political party Hillary Clinton thinks she belongs to at times, but today’s statements are of such extraordinary bellicosity that it is clear that a liberal Democratic party is not what she has in mind. There is, in fact, nothing to distinguish her from Dick Cheney, including her unshakable arrogance. Not only has she never apologized for errors of judgment in regard to the invasion of Iraq, but she has now exceeded even Bush and Cheney in her willingness to “obliterate” the entire nation of Iran.
“I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president, we will attack Iran,” Clinton told ABC News, when asked what she would do as president if the Islamic Republic were to launch a nuclear attack on Israel.
“In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.”
Once again, Clinton appears only to care that she portrays herself as a tough guy, apparently willing to slaughter millions of innocent Iranians based on the potentially bad judgment of their autocratic leaders. Unfortunately, there is nothing in Clinton’s record or in comments like this to suggest that this is purely political sword-rattling and that, once in the White House, she would morph into a thoughtful and deliberate stateswoman. It’s simply all too plausible to think that she would not hesitate to launch a nuclear attack on another sovereign nation that had attacked, not the US, but an ally.
This is nothing but a continuation of the Bush foreign policy: “Do what we want you to do when we want you to do it, or we’ll blow your shit up.” We don’t need more of this attitude, we don’t need any more wars. We need to learn out to participate on the planet with people we disagree with and begin to act like a civilized nation.

Oh, great. Let’s just obliterate an entire nation… kill all the children and all the animals and contaminate the rivers.
She just demonstrated how bad she is at making decisions.

I wish you had that Maytag #1 and then we could run Hillary through it a couple of hundred times and knock some sense into her.

I said it before and I will say it again. Hillary CLinton is one of them. SHe is the enemy. Why do you think she won’t give up.
Because she thought the election would have been stolen for her a long time ago. She can’t figure out what the hell is taking Karl Rove so long to steal this thing.
And now we have it. PA only uses electronic voting machines.
Hillary will win and she will have another excuse to continue destroying the Democratic party, which is most likely part of Karl’s plan.

Spudge, I couldn’t agree more. That’s why so many of us went for Obama instead of her when our candidates left the race. She’s the same as any other Republican.

She’s as bad as Bush — confirmed.
