Chris Matthews talked with right-wing radio host Kevin James who defended Bush’s comparison of Obama’s foreign policy position with the appeasement of Hitler. James was unable to explain the historical reference of “appeasement.”
Quite entertaining to watch this wingnut flailing in the wind..

“Facts? I don’t need no stinkin’ facts.. I have my list of talking points and I can talk really fast. That should be good enough..”

The best is from Green who says towards the end, “when you’re in a hole, stop digging.”
Too funny.

It looked like Matthews really set this whole interview up.
People like Tweety and his ilk will always be on the side of the winners, and when they can see a sinking ship, they bail.
Wherever they picked up Kevin James and his crooked mouthed rodent-like chitterings, Matthews had the chance to look good shredding him as he sidles sideways and gets behind the powers to be.
I found interesting the background “scenery” behind the two speakers…
James having the 9/11 evoking city skyline, which somehow looks like a still photo, seeming to have one of the World Trade towers in the background, the Air America spokesman in a newsroom…

What do you think the scenery means, Raven?
And I think that Matthews sees Olbermann’s ratings shooting out the roof (as Fox, once a winner is losing viewers left and right - thankfully) so Tweety acts accordingly.
I doubt he has gotten a conscience. A paycheck is a paycheck.

Bush ignored the memo, the one that warned of the attack. That’s what happened prior to 9/11. Bush didn’t even bother to talk. Kevin James is as dumb as dirt. Yuk.

I nevar suggested he has a conscience, he’s only insuring his paycheck by switching sides.
I think Kevin James’ skyline represents the endless obsession with terror, attack, and vengeance that is the modus operandi of the neocon conflict capitalists.
A newsroom represents information, which more and more people begin to consider as simply that, information, and they will discern the truth.

Did you guys see his (Chris Matthews) interview with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show where he discussed his book? Best smack down in my memory (except when Jon Stewart was on Crossfire [CNN])..

Interesting, Raven! I love how you interpreted it.
Muse, do you have a link to the video?
I am going to sleep now. I will check back in the AM.
Cheers one and all!

May 15, 2008 at 8:18 pm
I’ve just been cooped up for hours, and I’m feeling a bit ornery.
Saw lots of antelope!
May 15, 2008 at 8:19 pm
BTW, I’m in Wall, South Dakota. Ugh, I just know my mom is going to make me go to that Wall Drug place before we head out to the Badlands.
Anyone who wants a postcard needs to email me their address.

I spent the day with cold wet mules.
They were kinda ornery, too.
Two days now of much needed rain, temperatures have dropped way down as well.
May 15, 2008 at 8:23 pm
Do they still have the red and yellow bumper stickers?
May 15, 2008 at 8:23 pm
Ew, I bet that smelled good.
I bet you’re exhausted.
It’s been cold on our trip so far, but tolerable.
May 15, 2008 at 8:24 pm
Raven, I hope I never find out.
May 15, 2008 at 8:25 pm
I hope you are spared as well!

That’s it for me tonight, be safe and happy!

Wow is all I have to say…
Bush seriously crossed the line today.
May 15, 2008 at 11:39 pm
Kevin, I think it’s time you went to bed.
The adults are taking back this country.
It’s too bad Republicans weren’t laughed out of the room like this eight years ago - as they should have been!
