The end is near, but there is still voting to be done. It’s primary day again and for those of you who are still undecided, here is an update on our “Last-Minute-Fact-Checker”. The fight was a pretty nasty one and it looks like it seamlessly enters the the general election. So much for a break. I do not envy the Democratic candidate.

The fact checker is set up as a completely neutral and unbiased collection of links. We have the same information from the same sources for both candidates. This is purely for your information. If you are wondering about a voting record, about biographical data, campaign finances, you can have a quick look here, so you can make an informed choice today at the polls. Invest an hour on getting informed, it’s a good investment, you may have to live with your choice for four or more years.

All information is obtained at Project votesmart (Who is votesmart?Click here for more info.), I only did some of the browsing for you and arranged a couple of quick links. You find still more there, if you want to. Now, hit it!

  • Thanks ev for the breakdown of info on these candidates. Today is a big day..
I’ll add this link again as well:

It breaks down each candidate and where all the money comes from, focusing on bundling.

  • Outstanding info people. Thank you both.

I don’t vote in the primary until April 22. PA has a good number of delegates and it’s hard to judge who is the favorite Democratic candidate at this time. We had a petition signing party at our house on Saturday and 3/4 of the attendees signed Obama’s petition instead of Hillary’s. I’ll be heading off to another petition signing event this evening. Since we can’t vote today in Super Tuesday, we decided that the petition signing would be our straw poll.

  • If he had a chance, I would vote for Mike Gravel. He is the candidate most like Kucinich.

  • When I spoke at our caucus, I stated that in lieu of Kucinich, I wanted Edwards. In lieu of Edwards, I want Obama. If Clinton is the nominee, I’ll support her. Grudgingly. Especially if she is installed by superdelegates.

Then I’ll work my ass off to unseat our incumbent congressman who has already pledged for Clinton.

  • EV, this information is amazing. I hope you’re having fun skiing down the mountains. :)

What’s with the funky dates on (y)our comments?

  • EV has been posting this information before each primary, using the same post each time. :)

  • The polls indicate that West Virginia will be a landslide for Hillary and that this will invigorate her campaign. It’s sad for her. She is clueless and living in a dream world of the 1990’s. Some say she is still campaigning in hopes of raising money to pay back her $20 million debt.

Sorry, I’m in a bad mood about Hillary this morning after reading about the racist remarks and threats to Obama volunteers at MSNBC. I blame Hillary and Bill for fanning the flames of racism. I can never look at the two of them the same way as I did before this primary season. Looks like their true colors came shining through in 2008.

  • I love reading EV’s post’s but sure tired of this campaigning forever stuff..I don’t remember it ever being like this before….Has my memory gone completely.? Every few week’s we have another primery and all the hoopla that goe’s with it….Gees, seem’s like it’s been nearly a year of campaign’s, debate’s and all night vote counting….I wonder if next Jan.a new crop of polatician’s will start up for the 2010 election….With all of this will we get the country back on tract.? Spending hundred’s of million’s campaigning for a 400,000 a year job seem’s so obscene to me….Just when are we going to get our money’s worth.?….Blessings
