I haven’t gotten my stimulus check yet, but when I do, I don’t plan to spend it. I’m going to put it into a college fund for my kids. I figure we’re borrowing from our kids (like we always do) to fund our “stimulus,” so I’m giving it back to them. Hopefully they’ll be able to get a high-paying job with that college degree so they can pay back all the debt we’re loading on them.

They’ll give us the money now and then next year take it back like they did last time. It’s just money you won’t get back or you’ll have to pay extra for when you do your 2008 taxes. There’s really nothing extra to spend. They’re just trying to get people deeper in debt, rat bastards.

The money I got went to pay for (most of) 100 gallons of oil to last us through the summer. (hot water)

Back at ya True…..Don’t file any more, haven’t since I retired and on S.S. No other income so none to declare and pay taxe’s on…Way under the poverty level and getting along alright…Now that I can I refuse to comply….Beside’s figured they would just reduce my next year’s S.S or some other crap, that’s how it work’s….Borrow against next year and then make you pay it back, usualy with intrest…Then there’s the national debt thing…Don’t care what every one else doe’s it just doesn’t fit with my mind set…
My old neighbor heard about it and called me a few month’s ago to get info. He haden’t filed for year’s either…He ran out the door to get the form’s so fast it was unreal..Then a month later we got the form’s in the mail from the IRS..
Most people need the refund’s, especiely single parent’s and famelie’s…..They are the one’s that are getting hit the hardest by this administration’s mess….Blessings
