  • Spudge, doesn’t it just eat you up inside to see people who took an oath to support and defend the same constitution that you and I did just ignore that oath with impunity? It sickens me. I took my oath very seriously, and I still consider myself bound to it (since the oath did not have an expiration date.) If the Senate doesn’t do the right thing and kill this bill outright, then I’m afraid it will be time for me to take action and follow my own oath.

    I am both sad and pissed off at the same time. I am pissed off at the Republicans and Democrats are doing this to my country. I am sad about all of the stupid people I know.

    I need to find someplace where smart people are. People that think before they act.

    Everybody in this country admires heroes, people who think things out and come up with plans to help all. But, nobody wants to be a hero. Nobody wants to think things out. They want everything handed to them and if that means us doing really stupid shit to make everybody sloth like lives easier, they don’t care.

    I click save to my computer, it starts to save but the time goes all funny and then it gives an error notive saying that I either don’t have enough space, The video clips aren’t compatible, or the source is gone….

    Now I have no idea what to do.

  • Is there a way you can recapture it? It might have corrupted when you created it.

    Try saving it in a different format (if you can. Camtasia offers the ability to save in .wmv, .swf, etc.) and if you can try to save it in a different format, I would try that, reboot the system, then play it back and try to capture it again, and resave it.

  • Another thing you might try is a SnagIt video capture. SnagIt costs like $30 bucks and it will save in only one format…but you can send it to me and I can convert it as I have Camtasia.

    If that doesn’t work…email me and we’ll take it off line. Mom can get my email addy if she has keys to the cage.

  • I can convert it, yes. It’s been a long time since I did anything in Camtasia but I’m sure it will come back.

    Save it any way you can…in any format available, just so you don’t lose it. But try to leave the original source available (the raw footage) in case there’s an issue.

    Once you save it in any format, you can send it to me and I can try to convert it. What format do you want it in? .wmv? .swf?

    If you get SnagIt now, you can play what you have and use SnagIt to recapture it right away. It will be saved as an .avi. I can use Camtasia to convert it to something else if you want it in a different format than an .avi.

    You can get SnagIt to work in a few seconds…it’s that easy. And all you have to do is draw the box around the video you recorded, play it back, and its’ captured.

    Hope that made sense.

  • BnF, it goes beyond that. National Directive 51 gives fully autonomous power to the Executive. They’ve given Canadian troops the authority to guard US streets. The military can now do what the National Guard used to be able to do – and the military consists of Blackwater, et al. (NOLA anyone?)

    If you put all the pieces together in all the different acts, executive orders, and signing statements and what that spells is Police State. Completely.
