Nice choice for the pic since it seems the theme for CPAC this year is Down the Rabbit Hole. I’m wondering when the talk turns to cabbage-headed kings.
Hey, Med. Your avatar looks almost like my dog.
That’s strange cuz I’m still seeing the owl.
And hey to you as well.
Sometimes, behind the scenes, we see the new avatar before you do.
Is that your dog?
Yup, that’s my little buddy, Mook. He likes cameras about as much as I do.
I like that name. Mine is Honeybump. She’s got a honey-colored face, with the black. She’s part Chow, so she’s smaller than a pure bred.
It’s cold, grey and cloudy here today…3 set’s of fishermen have rented boat’s…Yikes!…Think I will wash dish’s and put on a movie…Happy posting all.Blessings
Back later, time to run the recycling to the center.
Have fun!
Mook is 135 pounds of pure German Shepard.
Med, love shepards, use to have a pair year’s ago…My buddy Bear , black lab, tip’s the scale at 152..He and I are on a diet….LOL…Blessings
Mook is a beauty. I was at a work-related open house the other night and a blind woman and a young sighted girl came in with dogs. The woman had a beautiful shepherd and the girl had a dog in training that I think was an Alsatian. Jet black but otherwise very shepherd-like shape.
Gorgeous dogs but the woman had a chip on her shoulder the size of Montana so I didn’t try to ask her about the dogs.
Back again. And feeling a little freaked out with everyone talking about Mook and I’m still seeing an owl.
Honest, I have not been talking to caterpillars.
Med, don’t think anyone would care if you do talk to caterpillars..I for one talk to tree’s, bird’s cat’s and dog’s….LOL..Blessings
Witch, whenever I read your blessings signature I can’t help but think of Irish coffee. One of my favorite authors calls it God’s Blessing.
Just what an Irish Witch do’s Med..We send out lot’s of blessings…Who’s the author.?..I’m not well read and always looking for new thing’s to read…
Must walk the Bear, will check back later…Blessings
Actually, he’s up in your neighborhood, Vancouver last I heard. Spider Robinson and his Callahan’s books. They started as short stories in magazines and have evolved nicely. Great fun but be warned, he puns.
Zooey, when do I get to have my Mook for my avatar?
What? No earthquakes? Where’s the fun in that?
Avatars can take up to 24 hours to show up. Mine did. I wish we had some control over that, but it’s a WordPress thing.
We grow good potatoes? Supply something like 95% of the seed potatoes for America.
That good volcanic soil is great for potatoes. I live in Idaho, but not the part that grows potatoes. It’s wheat country around here, and not a flat surface to be seen.
I know this because I just did the control system for the warehouse/farm that actually does do it.
We have a moraine finger that runs down the eastern side of the state. Directly on its western side is sand country where the potatoes thrive.
I just love all things geological. If I were younger, I would have done a geology major. It just kills me that I was right there in glacier country and couldn’t stop.
Zooey, from what I hear, Wisconsin is pretty unique because we were blessed with being on the outside edge of the last glacier. We have sections that were laid flat and others the fingers missed. If you ever get a chance to visit and spend some time, Wisconsin is an interesting place.
The people are weird too.
It’s definitely on my list, Med. We’re not quite far enough north here to have had glacier activity, but we’re on the second largest flood basalt plain on Earth.
Know what? People are weird everywhere!
Zooey, there is something of an urban legend about Wisconsin. People who grow up here and leave for whatever reason have an uncanny knack for returning. I have traveled a great deal in my life on business, lived a few places for periods of time but I will say, it isn’t a legend. Wisconsin is the strangest state in the union.
Well, it certainly is beautiful! I can see the draw — except for winter. I imagine you have worse winters there, and winter is bad enough here.
I guess you’ve never lived in Louisiana. That’s a pretty weird state.
I went to Bunkie once. Nice cathouse.
That’s a bit north of where I lived. I’m not an authority on cat houses.
Neither am I but it seemed nice for a doublewide.
Ohhhh, so it was in a good neighborhood.
Did someone mention mushrooms?
I haz gots snows in my yard!
Better you than me, House.
Hi Zooey!
Yeah and they say it will stay until at least lunchtime!
That’s the good kind of snow.
Morning youngster’s,…Cold, wet and grey here but no snow…Yippie!…
Noticed on my morning walk all the bulb flowers are popping out and the tree’s are starting to bud out as well..
Sunday Morning was a good watch, Phoebe Snow, Van Morrison and Tom Seleck..Next thing on my agenda is the sunday paper, toast and another walk with “Bubble butt”..
