Good morning, all!  I think I’ll go take some pictures after my exam this morning.  What are you all doing today?

This is your daily open thread, and if you’ve ever been here before, you know what to do.  Just make sure you have fun doing it!

  1. That’s a lot of ginger root!

You could pickle and/or candied some – but what to do with the other 9.5 lbs. ?!

  2. Way to go, Zooey.

ebb, the Iron Pot used to be an Italian restaurant in the block just west of the TA Tower. Best minestrone soup I’ve ever had.

  3. I got an A on my Chemical Addictions exam — YAY!

    —-
Does that mean her blood or urine was positive for everything?

  4. dbad –

I was wondering about that myself – exactly what chemicals one had to be addicted to in order to pass…

  5. Just to let our audience know, I have two(three?) relatives in difficult circumstances. One is my wife and the others are my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Wife has sciatica and b-i-l has advanced MS. I am currently providing care to two families. Not easy for an old fart(69) like me. Other critters have stepped in to fill the gap in the postings!

    • walt, take it easy, I’ll miss you though. All the best wishes to your family. And you are NOT old!
