Your cartoon illustrates what I’ve come to expect in the Republican/Libertarian worldview, that once you’re desperate enough, employers will have an easy time extorting labor from you at the rock bottom price!

The hatred the GOP (and Tea Baggers) has for those that are hurting is beyond vile. They are un-American and deserve nothing but our scorn. In all my years of cartooning, I have never seen such hate…It really disgusts me!
The idea of a society caring for their weakest is utterly dead. Not only in America, but here in Europe,too. The cold hearted German coalition government got a ringing slap today, however. Serves them right. I’ll post on it tomorrow after the news has hit English newspapers, too.

These cartoons hit home the point that we liberals should be pounding into the minds of working-class Americans…Sir…I applaud your talent and your passion for bringing out the message.
Those who try to crush us regular folk probably are sociopaths anyway and it would not be any use to try to reason with them or to try to get them to have some empathy. Now, the trolls on the other hand…they don’t know they’re being crushed as well, but the elites need useful idiots…

You’re right about pounding into the minds. The problem is that the Dems always let the Repugs frame the message and we end up behind the 8 ball…sad.
I personally believe that the game is rigged, and that we have a party that is supposedly on the left *rolls eyes that is just the kinder and gentler wing of the corporate party…
I can’t argue that…believing it more every day.
