BP won’t allow the people that are rescuing turtles do their job. Instead, BP is allowing baby turtles to be burned alive as they set fire to the oil in the Gulf. The video provides the details.

Are they still dping this? I thought I saw something to the effect that this praxtice has stopped. I hope it has …
lass, so much is secretive – with only dribs and drabs of information being ‘allowed’ out by the perpetrators. Thoroughly disgusting.
We’ll never know, in our lifetime, the full measure of destruction.
According to the gentleman, being interviewed, the turtle rescue effort has been scaled back by a week.
Someone WITH authority needs to be in charge and have the interest of the Gulf in focus – the wildlife, not the damn oil company.
The Oil Spill has a martial law type cover up going on. A lot of suspicious activity suggesting foreknowledge exists (not in this video).
Was the “Oil Spill” intended as a way to Blackmail the US, like one would expect from “The Joker” in a Batman cartoon?
The Oil Spill, Religion and The Joker
Thanks for stopping by the Zoo, morris.
The secrecy and cover-up are cheaper than allowing the truth to come out.
Corporations are not people. That do not have any sense of moral right or wrong. They only have a balance sheet. If it’s cheaper: do it. If it’s more expensive: don’t do it. That’s the “morality” of the “person” known as a corporation.
My rule of thumb in every incident that appears to involve massive man-caused destruction is a simple one: ignore the official fluff and assume the worst, you’ll probably be right.
As if the Kemp Ridleys didn’t have enough problems already
That video is so sad. It wouldn’t cost BP anything in time or inconvenience to let the rescuers do their jobs, so it simply be that they want to avoid the massive fines for killing these turtles by incinerating the evidence — ALIVE.
There has been one thing that has me confused about Obama. I can’t understand why the white house isn’t using its clout to cut threw all the red tape and crap by BP. Obama is not doing himself any favors, by looking weak on this terrible disaster. He has given the right a lot of ammo already, by seeming to be weak on BP.
I’m not happy with the way the white house has been playing this disaster.
I’m with you, angels. The WH should have long ago extinguished any perception that BP was anything but a checkbook in this disaster.
Zooey, I love your comment and picture about rockets on the TP thread about the Luntz Poll Leaking (maybe I should change the order of those words).
Thanks, Wayne.
I know the Palestinian rockets have caused damage, injuries, and deaths in Israel, but I wanted to put the two in perspective.
Looks like things ground a halt over there.
And I love the fact that Luntz spent money on that polling, and it totally back-fired on him — now publicly so. Heh.
Found this at C&L. Not only is BP killing the turtles, their killing us, too. The President should put a stop to this spraying NOW.
Zooey,
I do not claim to have any expertise or special knowledge about the whole Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Every time I learn something, I have to consider the source and examine the biases and motivations behind that source. The end result is that I am never sure of my knowledge of the history of the region.
Speaking purely as a disinterested outside observer, it would seem to me that everything one side does to the other is justified by something else that was done previously. And much of that pre-dates the creation of the modern Nation of Israel. So it can’t all be about “Israel’s right to exist.”
I am no expert on International Law (which obviously takes precedence over all else), but if such a right to exist is based purely on religious texts (which cannot logically be seen as equivalent to, and of equal validity with, historical documents), then it has no legal foundation. For nobody’s religion can be seen to be any more valid than anyone else’s religion. So there must be some other legal underpinning for Israel’s “right to exist.”
Setting that issue aside, how far a nation is allowed to go to “defend itself” is another matter that needs to be discussed more. The idea that a nation can use military force to strike any and all “existential threats” is troubling. To justify destroying something because of how it might one day be used is insufficient. Because from that kind of reasoning, it isn’t very far to decide that the children of a known terrorist will likely grow up to avenge their parent’s death, so let’s put the children of terrorists in jail now. It really isn’t that far at all.
Where does the violence end? Both sides have claimed they want peace. And both sides have promised to stop the violence, only to have more violence by their side follow (usually attributed to “rogue” elements; usually a lie.)
For me, as an outsider, I have to wonder what role Religion plays in all of this. Because if the continued violence in the Middle East, which has been going on for centuries, has anything at all to do with Religion, no matter which one or whose, then it is a compelling argument for the World Community to re-examine the importance of allowing the practice of Religion, freely or by force, anywhere in the world. Maybe only certain kinds of Religions should not be allowed. Perhaps the problem is with ones that involve Gods and what they tell people to do in their name. Perhaps the problem is with Religions that promise an afterlife on another plane of existence. Or maybe the whole idea of Faith is behind the violence. Or maybe it’s as simple as the fact that they are not based on anything provable. I don’t know. I know there are beliefs that are considered religions that do not compel people to kill one another. I suppose they can be allowed. (The Amish practice some form of Christianity that has kept them from wishing to commit violence for centuries. Of course, they’ll never know I said that about them because they haven’t advanced Scientifically in nearly three hundred years.)
Wayne, I think it all boils down to generational hate on both sides. You’re right, it’s ridiculous to strike at another because of something they might want to do in the future, but this seems to be what they’re doing. Along with a heaping helping of “you don’t even have the right to exist, so any deal I make with you is bogus.”
The world needs to apply deep pressure to Israel and the Palestinians, and let them know that their only option is work things out together, with the starting assumption that all parties have the right to exist and all parties will have a place to call home — that is not occupied or attacked by the other.
I simply can’t watch the video.
I agree with you, angels, President Obama’s performance throughout this disaster has been more than disappointing. BP is being given full rein to do whatever it wants. This is OUR country and OUR shores that BP is killing. I cannot believe that day after day goes by while wildlife and marine life are dying by the thousands, it’s only going to get worse and NOTHING changes. It makes me sick.
Jane, the video is only a guy talking — no suffering animals.
It should make everyone sick, Honey. We need for everyone in the country to see what BP is doing in the name of saving money, so their bottom line profits won’t be hurt so bad. AND, we need to make sure everyone knows just who in our government is letting them get away with it. Because they are just as guilty! (And, YES, Mr. President, I’m looking at you, too.)
The world needs to apply deep pressure to Israel and the Palestinians, and let them know that their only option is work things out together, with the starting assumption that all parties have the right to exist and all parties will have a place to call home — that is not occupied or attacked by the other.
If they won’t accept that as a starting point, then they will be forced to accept that nobody has a right to live there, and that it will be legally recognized as a No Man’s Land (not unlike Somalia.) You want to go visit your Holy Lands? May your God bless and protect you along the way, because no government will.
Besides, it’s a desert. Who wants to live in a fucking desert? It’s hot and there isn’t enough water.
Besides, it’s a desert. Who wants to live in a fucking desert? It’s hot and there isn’t enough water.
Srsly. Don’t these people understand the term, “God forsaken?”
You’d think that a people who consider themselves “God’s Chosen” would get the hint when the land their God promised them would best be described as “God Forsaken”. You’d think they might start getting the idea that maybe God didn’t choose them because he liked them.
It’s like the concept of a God answering all prayers — people don’t seem to have any idea that the answer might be NO.
Why is a God presumed to be a benevolent God, unless he’s dealing with people the religious don’t like?
Ebb, it always surprises me when people who seem to be open-minded in general have blinders on when it comes to Israel.
I feel terrible about what happened to the Jews and others in WWII. It’s obscene.
But does it then follow that the victims of such a terrible crime can do no wrong? That we should support them no matter what they do? Personally, I’m not buying it.
A very brief discussion with a pro-Israeli (Israel right or wrong) young man yesterday. After about 15 min. we had to agree to disagree. I’m of the belief that the oppressed (Israel long ago) has become the oppressor – no two ways about it.
This young man was touting the ‘videos’. Reminded him that Israel confiscated all means of recording devices from the humanitarian aid ship and that only the ‘official’ version from Israel was aired.
That first-hand accounts, from those on board, were what I was reading.
The U.S. sanctions the suffering of the Palestinian people by not holding Israel accountable – that is so disturbing.
God is very busy helping out American sports teams-the ‘winners’ are always thanking him for the win.
(of course the reverse of that is they are thanking ‘god’ for allowing the other team to lose).
A bit trite but..
There’s your benevolence Z!
The line I find amusing – when one does not get what one ‘prayed’ for: ‘Well it wasn’t meant to be’ ‘God has other plans’.
‘God has other plans.’
Ugh. That reminds me of Sharron Angle and her asinine position that a girl who’s been raped and impregnated should not be allowed to have an abortion, because “God has a plan for all of us.”
I remember watching awards show like the Oscars, Grammys, etc.
I was always amazed that so many performers began with, “First, I’d like to thank God…”
How arrogant is that? As if some mythical sky fairy gives a shit if you can sing or act, but doesn’t give a shit that children are starving in the world.
So many unanswered inconsistencies when dealing with a Faith-filled mind. I get that you have to have “faith”, and I get (even if they don’t fully understand what it means) that it means suspending your disbelief and accepting, as completely and indisputably true, something which cannot possibly be true. And that’s fine, as long as this is a completely personal thing.
But to go from that to deciding that everybody has to accept this Faith as Fact and behave according to the dictates of that Religion is morally reprehensible.
Again, I am not a history buff. But I suspect that the real reason our government is supposed to be kept separate from Religion is not so that people can be free to practice the religion of their choice, but so that no one would be forced to practice a religion they despise. That is not quite the same thing as “Religious Freedom.” They weren’t being given the freedom of the donut; they were being given the freedom of the donut hole.
Freedom from religion.
Hell, as long as it’s legal, people can believe whatever they want. Just leave me out of it.
We shouldn’t find the current Israeli rhetoric hard to understand. After all, the US said pretty much the same thing when we took over the lands in this country that the heathen savages were just wasting. And their objections to the treatment were waved off for pretty much the same reasoning.
Our Manifest Destiny was just as much a holy claim to be greedy. God isn’t a deity, its an excuse for bad behavior.
It’s interesting that if you commit a crime and say the devil made me do it you either go to jail or the psych ward. If you say you did it in the name of God, you get to be Pope or Prime Minister or some other big job.
Angels, I’m not versed enough in Maritime Law to know what Obama can do in this situation.
Remember, it was Maritime Law that cut the Exxon Valdez’s liability for damages to a mere pittance of the actual harm it caused.
And in Rightwingistan, Obama can do no right. He got BP to deposit $20 BILLION into a fund for compensating the victims, when all it legally had to pay was $75 million. His reward? About a third of the country thinks it was a Chicago-style “shakedown.” (the foxnews watchers)
Not only are we dealing with Maritime Law, but none of the companies involved are American Corporations. (Even Dick Cheney’s Halliburton is a foreign corporation now, having switched its headquarters to Dubai during the Bush/Dick reign.) That makes a huge difference, too.
In short, not knowing how the President’s hands are tied, I am reluctant to place blame on the Whitehouse…at this time.
I see that a formerly banned troll is back demonstrating his own bigotry by implying that anyone who disagrees with Israel is an anti-Semite. As far as I’m concerned, people like that can go fatally rape themselves. (I’m not trying to sound like Eugene; I’m just sick of being accused of Antisemitism every time I point out that the sun doesn’t shine out Israel’s ass.)
BTW, I trust what people here tell me more than elsewhere (because you will at least admit that you are unsure).
But did Israel find anything bad on that flotilla they raided? I mean, any actual threats?
Wayne, I haven’t heard any actual threat from the flotilla — just merely that they might have been planning something, and had the nerve to fight back when shot at.
I don’t believe a thing Israel puts out there in its own defense, especially after they confiscated all cameras and recording devices.
Next time someone says “It is God’s Will.” reply with, “Yes, it is Cod Swill.”
They will understand it to be an affirmation of faith on your part. They will be correct.
I see, Zooey. So there exists no independent proof that the reasons Israel gave for attacking the flotilla were valid. Which, when re-phrased, comes out as “Israel can provide no valid reason for attacking the flotilla and putting several bullets apiece in the heads of some of the protesters.”
I understand now. Israel has committed yet another crime.
Wayne, the only outside evidence of what happened on the flotilla are witness statements.
The problem is, they have an agenda of their own. But since they were the ones attacked, and Israel did the confiscating a doctoring of video, I give more weight to the witness statements.
Back later. Gotta take Zoo Jr to work.
Next time someone says “It is God’s Will.” reply with, “Yes, it is Cod Swill.”
My answer is likely to be more along the lines of “Which one?” And if given an answer, my next reply would be, “How do you know?” My goal would be to eventually get the person to admit that they were offering me nothing substantial or useful at all, and that they were merely trying to comfort themselves, not me.
Had to bold that -
I like how that susancarrie bitch can decide that a debate is “poisoned” just because there isn’t agreement on her premises. [Sorry for the harsh language, but I was restraining myself. I do not like her. I should say, I do not like that internet persona.]
Israel is very adept at using the old ‘He looked like he was going to hit me so I hit him back first’ defense, an venerable standby in jurisprudence.
@ Zooey
Thanks for having me,
Don’t know how this thread ended up on the ME, maybe there’s a corollary with burning Turtles alive.
I think all that went wrong was, no foresight by the Zionist elders that Islam might appeal to some immigrants. As a solution they whipped up a schizophrenic hatred, and consequently attracted those most prone to hatred.
Its amazing how when massive public outrage throughout the world gets to a certain level even the neocons begin to ‘hear’ God’s words.
That’s the problem with most deity based religions. They tend to convince the troops that just the leaders can hear god. But when the shit really hits the fan, everyone realizes they can hear just fine without having to pay some clown to build a church.
And when does the government of Israel accept responsibility for its own actions and how they contribute to the continued cycle of violence?
Hi, morris,
Actually “The Watering Hole” is a daily feature that’s usually intended to be an open thread. The initial subject is just a starting place for discussion. But you are welcome to bring up anything here.
Here is Israel Shamir explaining why Israel attacked the Marmara:
Never. Israel played the They Started It card in defense of the blockade. This type of childish tit-for-tat has been going on for centuries. Neither side wants it to end.
BnF: “the Bush/Dick reign”
There are so many potential novels in that concept as to make Harry Potter look like nothing at all!
@ Wayne A. Schneider

Interesting…..
Morris, the Watering Hole is pretty much an open tapestry. One never knows what the final weave will be.
I think it’s ironically funny that politicsobserver is telling people that “They could even get a nice taste of history by watching Glenn Beck.”
Yeah, if you want to leave a bad taste in your mouth.
And yet, just a couple of weeks ago, I saw him tell one of his other sock puppets that he did not know that Glenn Beck was planning a rally on the same date as MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech (and nearly the same location.) He can’t be a particularly observant observer of politics if he didn’t know that (at the time he said he didn’t know it.)
As to the Gulf fiasco, I can’t believe BP is involved in anything beyond capping the damn thing and drilling the relief well. Their only involvement in the cleanup should be paying the bill.
Once the mess hits our territorial waters, the US should be in total control of the cleanup. And the only response needed from BP is “Yesir, right away, sir. Here’s another billion.”
Here’s a weird thing:
When we got in the car, my son pointed out that my trip meter was at 177.6 — and since we didn’t go anywhere yesterday, it had sat at that number on July 4.
Maybe I’m the only one who thinks that’s cool.
I think it’s ironically funny that politicsobserver is telling people that “They could even get a nice taste of history by watching Glenn Beck.”
And $arah for a taste of political science. Bill and Sean can fight over natural science and home economics.
Who needs school when you have Faux?
That is cool, Zooey. A car that is more patriotic by accident than the tea baggers are on purpose.
Still, it isn’t quite the same as seeing the BVM in fried spam.
Your car’s odometer is way cool, Zooey.
Glenn Beck and history? Well he’s starting a university, and he hired a well-known political hack who distorts history…
guys, I agree with you with President Obama’s response to this disaster…extremely disappointing and this is not the change that many voted for…He needs to come down with a heavy hand against BP and needs to distance himself from the whole industry knows best mentality that no one except the politicians, lobbyists, and trolls espouse…
Kitty, I don’t have a real problem with deferring to BP on the actual capping and relief drilling aspect. Odds are they do know more about that.
When it comes to the clean up, not so much. There are plenty of folks out there that know more about cleaning up the mess than BP has ever thought about. There shouldn’t be a single BP hack directing any aspect of the the clean up.
Beck U? Only two letters off. Probably be the first educational environment that offers a doctorate in Stupid. Six weeks of on line classes, a couple of grand (cash or money orders please) and you too can be certified as stupid as Glenn.
point well said…of course there are going to be instances where BP has the expertise, you’re right about that…but it has not proven to be trustworthy especially in the cleanup…They’ve shown that they’re trying to do the cleanup on the cheap, environment be damned…
BP doesn’t need to spend money on PR. There are only two things the US wants to hear them say.
1) We got it capped.
2) I’m sorry. Here’s some more money for clean up.
usckitty,
The problem is that BP is not doing a clean-up, they are doing a hide-up.
The Big issue I think is; What are they covering up? Journalists are really not allowed access accept to official spokesmen, it’s illegal to go near anyone doing clean up work. Why did the US refuse foreign assistance for 70 Days. All those youtubes of the oil leaking – is of black oil – not the red oil we are seeing in so many places, and the corexit is sinking the oil to camoflage it.
Recently a rehab center for this same population of turtles was established in Buzzard’s Bay as “cold stunning” is a seasonal problem for these federally protected animals
Um,. morris, I believe that the Obama Administration has accepted “foreign aid”. And well within the 70-day window you mention.
Perhaps the confusion is over either what is considered “foreign” or what is considered “aid”. But ships and equipment from other countries have been in the Gulf helping since nearly the beginning. (Maybe not every offer of help was accepted, but that does not equate to no offers of help being accepted.)
This is the problem we have with government regulation…We tell them to clean up their act, BP refuses, then we come up with a watered-down demand, and then BP still does not comply…
usckitty, it’s like a parent telling their toddler “Stop that!”. Then when they don’t stop, the parent says “Please stop doing that honey..?” Then when they still don’t stop the parent pleads “Please if you stop I’ll give you a nice fat cookie.. With milk..”
@ Wayne A. Schneider
It was long a news item that the US was refusing foreign assistance – using the excuse – that it would have to paid for, here are two articles further down.
And there are experts saying the plumes can be sucked up into tankers, this is also not being done.
I really think there is a big RAT in all of this.

Day 70: Obama Finally Accepts Foreign Aid for Oil Spill

http://rightwingnews.com/2010/06/day-70-obama-finally-accepts-foreign-aid-for-oil-spill/
morris, you can’t seriously think that we accept a link to rightwingnews.com as being a good source.
Foreign aid that was freely offered was accepted. Aid that came with a price tag was rejected.
One of the biggest problems with the Gulf situation is the lack of decent information. Part of this is being driven by the government but the largest part of the gag is coming from BP and the media sources that aren’t pursuing the real story.
There is just too much we aren’t hearing about and our infotainment system is really showing its true color. Green for whoever pays them the most.
Zooey, the flying spagetti monster is sending you a sign through your odometer.
The republicans on the other hand, would attribute that one to an act of god and how he (god is a male all republicans know this) came here on the mayflower because he wants america to be great…. blah blah blah…xristo fascist babble…blah blah blah.
Never mind that the dates are incorrect, that stuff gets in the way of their agenda.
@ Zooey
Here are two Google searches, most results start in late June:
Even MSM CNN is saying the First Amendment has been removed.
https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=IMD&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&q=gulf+oil+spill+foreign+aid+rejected&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=
https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=w1X&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&q=gulf+oil+spill+foreign+assistance+rejected&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=
Over the weeks I read multiple times that 12 countries offered assistance, all were rejected
Thank you for the links, morris. I looked at both of them.
In the first one, they had this to say:
It was this information that caused me to question the idea that no foreign assistance (forgive my use of the word “aid” above) had been accepted. I agree that not all of the offers of foreign assistance were accepted, but I disagree (despite the reporters saying the exact opposite in that same article) that no foreign assistance was accepted. That is disputed by the section quoted above.
As for the second source, I believe they are mischaracterizing things to suit their political agenda. And they clearly do have one. For one thing, their mention of the Jones Act not being waived is a tip-off. It is the right wing that keeps bringing this up, and it is a straw man. From what I understand, the Jones Act would only apply if foreign ships wanted to bring things to American ports. That is not happening here. Nor have there been any requests for waivers of the Jones Act. It is, in short, a non-issue, and one that only the right wing is bringing up for the sole purpose of confusing people about the facts.
But I do thank you for the links.
I agree that our government is not doing enough to clean up the Gulf, but I believe that it is because BP is claiming they can do more than they really can. Also, BP’s motivation for down-playing the spill and its effects are quite obvious. They have lied to our government from the beginning and should no longer have ANY say over what gets done to fix this problem. In the first place, I do not believe that they are properly identifying what “the problem” is. It is my opinion that BP believes “the problem” is that Americans think they are destroying the Gulf, not that they are actually destroying the Gulf.
Just a quick fly over, will have to read all your posts later….
RUCerious and his beautiful daughter Amber just stop by for a minute…He wanted me to say Hello to everyone….Hello!…Happy posting from me…Laters..P.B. & J.
Thanks for the Google search links, morris. I found this on both of them, from factcheck.org:
Go here to read the full answer.
Hello, Great Lady and her wonderful guests!
Hi, Great Lady! Hi, RUCerious! Hi, Amber!
Wayne, I agree with your assessment. We are in uncharted territory here. I suspect that if the government aggressively pursues its agenda to clean up and protect the Gulf, BP will cut and run. The only reason they haven’t is they are still sucking up oil and hope to tap the relief well.
The administration is caught between getting tough (and having the Right howl about nationalization) and doing what it has to to run the clean up (and having BP dodge paying for it.)
Thank you for the links, morris. I looked at both of them.
In the first one, they had this to say:
In late May, the administration accepted Mexico’s offer of two skimmers and 13,779 feet of boom; a Dutch offer of three sets of Koseq sweeping arms, which attach to the sides of ships and gather oil; and eight skimming systems offered by Norway.
I distinctly recall Norway and Hollands offers being rejected – I do make mistakes and get things wrong too. – Late May means according to what you wrote, some help was accepted after 30 to 40 days
….
I don’t really see the difference between the rightwing, leftwing and corporations, they are all the same, to me.
I agree that our government is not doing enough to clean up the Gulf, but I believe that it is because BP is claiming they can do more than they really can.
They are all the same thing – their agenda includes conquering in foreign wars – and keeping those at home calm and uninformed.
Here is CNN complaining
Don’t let the facts get in the way, morris.
I’ve heard many time since January 20, 2009, that President Obama is a socialist Nazi Hitler. It must be true…
Interesting blog from Jed Lewison at Daily Kos:
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/7/5/881815/-In-2007-review,-Federal-agency-vastly-underestimated-deepwater-spill-risk
“Mon Jul 05, 2010 at 11:16:04 AM PDT
The Bush administration agency charged with assessing the impact of new deepwater drilling on endangered species in the Gulf of Mexico based its 2007 conclusion that expanded drilling was “not likely” to “destroy or adversely modify designated critical habitat” on a worst-case scenario that a single spill would dump no more than 630,000 gallons of oil into the Gulf.
That worst-case scenario proved to be wildly optimistic — more than 100 million gallons have already gushed into the Gulf thus far in BP’s Deepwater Horizon disaster. …”
It’s a brief article, but telling; also cross-referenced to the original report for MMS in 2007.
Zooey I’ve heard many time since January 20, 2009, that President Obama is a socialist Nazi Hitler.
I’ve heard that he’s even worse: a COMMUNIST Nazi Hitler!
Of course, according to motormouth on TP, Right Wing Dystopia and I are both Commies too, so I dunno what to make of it all.
Well, a commie Nazi Hitler Obama is much more understandable.
Maybe we need to start adding “Commie” to our sign in names.
@ Zooey
You are quoting me quoting Wayne – re: the facts. And I don’t know who factcheck is.
If you cannot see a major cover up goin on – then I don’t know what to say.
morris, I was most certainly addressing you.
Given the opportunity to learn the facts, you seem satisfied to rely on your conspiracy theory. Nothing I can say will dislodge a happy conspiracy theorist.
morris, in days of yore the media didn’t whine about government rules that kept them from doing their job. They did their job and challenged the rules. They pushed the envelope and forced accountability. That is what the 4th Estate is supposed to do.
I don’t buy the security and safety crap and neither should the media. I don’t agree with the rulings and I am disappointed in this administration for putting them in place. More, I am royally pissed about it.
But then, I am one who thinks the idea of a national security blanket is total horse pucky. That sham was developed by people who wanted to be able to get away with things they shouldn’t be doing. If the US is doing things they think need to be kept from the public, they shouldn’t be doing those things…period.
morris, why is it you know who rightwingnews.com is but you don’t know about factcheck? Just a simple question but don’t the names say anything to you?
@ Cats r Flyfishn
The government is up to its eyeballs in doin no good
rightwing news, was just a link i followed – i don’t know them – nor like their title.
@ Zooey – you are right can’t dislodge someone whose seen too much.
And you were addressing me – but you were attributing a quote of Wayne’s to something I said.
Ya I’ve seen the facts, all those live feeds provided by BP don’t explain the red oil which is leaking from somewhere else
Believe what you want about what quote I was addressing, morris. I provided you with your own words in my response to you at 1:59 pm, but of course it had no impact.
This oil disaster isn’t even halfway over, but you’ve seen the way of things, and are absolutely certain of the truth of them. I think I’ll just collect as much evidence as I can before I decide.
Thanks for stopping by.
Sorry the first sentence was meant for @ hoodathunk
The government is up to its eyeballs in doin no good
(But if you think of them as gangsters, it all makes sense)

To continue were I left off, concerning Obama and the white House.
Obama needs to be the voice of the people. He needs to stand with the people of the gulf, and cut threw the red tape and the BS that’s being thrown up by BP. He needs to quit acting like some CEO, and act and show the rage that the public has for this disaster.
I understand that a president can only do so much, when it comes to stopping this disaster, but he surely can be the voice of the American people instead of the voice of big oil.
I just don’t see the anger and rage for this disaster to our country, I don’t see him taking the side of working people or explaining why things are being done the way they are.
Like I said earlier, I’m confused and pissed off. This is not what I voted for.
morris,
I do not dispute for one moment that BP is doing their damnedest to cover up as much of the truth as possible, since none of it makes them look good in anyway. And I do believe they are covering up the truth for nefarious purposes.
I am not prepared to accept the idea that the Obama Administration is covering up the truth. I am more willing to believe that, through their own incompetence (such as in putting too much faith in what BP tells them), they have not been telling the American people the entire truth. I could not see any reason to deliberately lie (added for clarification) , unless they want to protect some foreign corporation’s profits.
BP has a reason to lie. I don’t see what reason Obama has.
But, with all due respect, I cannot agree with this statement:
I don’t really see the difference between the rightwing, leftwing and corporations, they are all the same, to me.
If you had said, “Republican, Democrat and corporations, they’re all the same to me,” I would have said, “And to me, too.” But I do believe there is a difference between the right wing and the left wing in this country.
The Right Wing is inarguably in favor of the corporations, and nothing will convince me otherwise. But I do not accept that the Left Wing is in favor of the Corporations.
Keep in mind that I do not automatically assume all Democrats (or the party itself as a whole) are liberal and the Republicans all conservatives. There are conservatives and extreme right-wingers in the Democratic party, but there are virtually no liberals or moderates in the Republican Party at the national level.
And I am not a Democrat. I am a registered Unaffiliated Voter. I also happen to be rather liberal and libertarian in my political beliefs, and I am not even the most extreme in our bunch. (We have a chart about that somewhere.)
I can tell you most emphatically that neither I, nor people who think like me, favor giving corporations more power, authority, rights or any kind of status remotely approaching personhood (and the civil rights that come with that.)
In fact, speaking for myself, I think that Capitalism needs to be re-thought in this country. I do not believe that everything should serve as an excuse to make money. (Do not assume that any of my fellow Critters share this view unless they explicitly tell you so.)
Well, I’m off to meet my dad’s new…whatever she is.
I’ll check in when I get home this evening.
Yeah, I haven’t figured out what to call my Dad’s “whatever” and it’s been more than thirty years.
I guess she’s my common law Step-mom, but I’d rather not think of her as such.
See ya later, Zooey. Then again, I may be going to bed early tonight. I have a lot of clothes to wash in the morning.
For a couple of years in the early seventies, I was a frequent visitor to UC Davis, was working on a project with the then head of the Bacteriology Department there (It’s a long time ago, but I’m pretty sure that was his title).
I’m not positive, but I have a hunch I’ve spent more time on the UCDavis campus than motormouth ever did.
Good luck with that, Zooey. Awkward moments are…awkward.
@ Wayne A. Schneider
Yes I did mean Dems and Reps when I said right and left.
Obama has no room to manoever – so he is defacto the same as BP.
It is all Sachs and JP Morgan run, the Govt and BP.
I don’t think they can fix the leak – not by the relief wells, this is not divination, it is from observing what is on the net, with my own discernment (not the rightwing.news) .
I think it is a calamity of humongess proportions, unseen by any of us.
Capitalism is probably the nastiest thing ever foisted on humankind. The basic concept is everything has a price, everything is for sale.
It pretty much is to blame for the sorry state of the world today.
I sure see a lot of contrarian opinion being pawned off as fact today.
Good luck, Zooey. Meself, I’d be tickled if my mom found someone she wanted to spend time with. I know she is lonely.
frugal, motormouth may have – emphasis may have driven by the campus a time or two but that’s about it.
He should have just stepped back from that silly statement (UC@Davis) and not compounded his misery by pretending to be a avian expert – even misspelling the species supposedly the subject of his thesis.
mm is one sick, sad bit of nastiness.

frugalchariot, did you grow up in CA or just attend school here?
Got me a hunch about morris
vinylspear, although not yet spoken – I’ll second your hunch!
@ Cats r Flyfishn
Spit it out – the hunch
If you can’t trust a hunch. What can you trust?
On the right wing – left wing differential: I see it as being fairly simple to diagnose. The right wing worships the corporatocracy and were delighted when the Supreme Court ruled that Corporations were people, something the left wing completely and totally disagreed.
Meanwhile, I remember the joy in ’65 amongst the left side of the political aisle when the Civil Rights Act finally passed, and people of color were finally – LEGALLY – considered to be people, REAL people, EQUAL IN EVERY WAY people. And I remember the screams from the right, their disparagement of that concept, their fear.
There’s much, much more, I know, but I can think of no better quick summary that defines polar differences than that one.
Hey now, morris has been civil and presented his evidence. Just the kind of guy you want to go have a beer with.

ah, morris, that’s twice today you did the Cats thing.
morris, is there something you would like to share with us? Or do you want to run your motormouth some more?
morris,
The red (actually rust) tinge to the oil is due to a high iron content in the reservoir. This changes to a rust tone when it meets oxygen enriched water or the atmosphere and then rusts, which is a rapid process in salt water.
morris, just a friendly suggestion – you may want to familiarize yourself with who has typed what -
Then there will be no confusing who said what.
My hunch is you are just contrary by nature.
Really, Walt? Shoot, and I had heard it was red because it was commie oil. From numerous sources, too, also, you betcha.
Hi all,
Max here. WOW I am dense or what. For the longest time I tried and tried to log in with my wordpress account from T.P. and for the life of me could not get the darn thing to work.
Duh, T.P. has their own registration protocol and The Zoo uses basic WordPress log in which requires a whole new WordPress account.
DOH! *bang head on keyboard*
Glad to be here.
Hoodathunk doesn’t need me at all
Zooey was somewhat upset too
2ebbandflow had the temerity to offer his view (contrary by nature – probably true) – am switching between gmail and the web page – am on a dial up modem – still say you would do well to have a reply button, as many themes do have, or my browser isn’t showing it.
It is time for me to say farewell, and unsubscribe
But I found some nievety, and comradship between you – so there you have it from me too.
Max -1, welcome, welcome!
Max? As in Max from TP?
2ebb — frugalchariot, did you grow up in CA or just attend school here?
Neither. I grew up in Minnesota, went to school in Arizona, then worked for four years in defense and aerospace facilities. In the early seventies, I moved back to AZ and was employed by a small agricultural services company; I more or less ran the research lab there. One of the company’s paid consultants was head of Bacteriology at UC Davis, the other a phycologist at UCSD-Scripps. I spent a lot of time interfacing with both of them, drawing on their knowledge and expertise, even using their on-campus lab facilities from time to time. It was, needless to say, an interesting experience.
I lost touch over the years with the fellow from Davis, but remained in touch with the one from Scripps — although thanks to some medical problems the last few years I’ve not visited La Jolla since 1998. Time flies, even when you’re NOT having fun!
Anyway, I second your notion that motormouth has driven past UCDavis a few times, but that’s about it.

hooda,
Yep. ME
Max Anax Junius? Welcome aboard. I’m a fan.
hooda,
no, no, no.
I’m a fan of YOU
morris – temerity?! It’s called honesty – and a reply to inquiry.
You will lurk – it is in your nature. How do I know?
I just do.
If I’m proven incorrect I’ll be ‘man’ enough to say so.
p.s. mm: I’m a flacon and not a tiercel!
Hoodathunk doesn’t need me at all.
I guess I’m a bad, bad boy. Sniff, all I did was ask him if he had something to share with us.
Max-1, (I’m blushing and going to gush – but I just love to open up TP in the night and see you’ve made an appearance!)
Max, glad you could make it. One thing about the Zoo. I’ve kinda noticed it is something of a mutual admiration society.
Must be interesting having a dial up modem, getting a different IP address every time you log on to the ‘tubes. How handy for trolling…
I’m surprised y’all haven’t gotten Rick-Rolled today!
This morning, Dharma posted this.
What does the Senate G(no)P think they are doing?
Oops,
Thought the embed would work.
Max, they are doing what they do best. Obstruction of anything that might be beneficial to the country or is in the interest of their corporate sponsors.
2ebbandflow,
*blush* Thanks…
… I so enjoy T.P. but their lack of moderation is a real killer.
I don’t think they can fix the leak – not by the relief wells, this is not divination, it is from observing what is on the net, with my own discernment (not the rightwing.news) .
On that we agree. And for many of us on the left, this is as good a reason as any not to have done it in the first place.
I think it is a calamity of humongess proportions, unseen by any of us.
On that we disagree. many of us have felt that drilling in the Gulf should be prohibited precisely because something like this could happen, and that if it did, it would be devastating. (And we were proven right because it did before and it was then.)
Hello! morris – I know you’re out there!
—–
Evening house! Was there racing on the t.v. today?
The House Republicans didn’t stand in opposition, yet the Senate stands lock step in opposition. The disparity leaves me scratching my head.
Is there a secret are they protecting?
Or are they just obstinate fools at America’s expense?
Max-1,
Welcome to TheZoo. Glad you found your way here.
Max,
You should be able to use the same ID fore both TP and WP. It has worked for me for almost 3 years here (In August, it will be three.) and about six at TP.
I was a charter Critter at TheZoo. I even designed our Avatar ( I am retired and had too much time on my hands when I did that.) In any case, enjoy your time at TheZoo and welcome. We are glad to have you here!
Why does anyone suspect morris of
beinghaving been someone else?Howdy Max-1,
You’re better off here.
Hmmmmm, whom could that be?????
Max,
The GOP knows that they can block everything in the Senate where only a third of the members are exposed in each election cycle. In the House, there is another situation – every seat is up for grabs and there they vote with their constituents in most cases (Bat-shit crazy Bachmann and Teabaggers are exceptions.).
WaltTheMan,
It doesn’t/didn’t work that way when I signed-up.
It wouldn’t even let me use EbbAndFlow – I had to use all lowercase and put the 2. It kept telling me what I wanted to use was already taken (yeah, by me!).
Walt,
I tried. My login at T.P. has caps and a dash. When I tried to login here, the login would not let me use caps or a dash. But oh well. Here I am
Hi 2ebb!
No live racing. I was going to do a Ladies In Racing comment yesterday, but the news was real bad. Danica couldn’t get out of her own way yesterday, Simona de Silvestro wrecked, but was running better than Danica, up to that point, Milka Duno finished three laps down. The only thing that kept Danica from finishing one spot ahead of Duno, was one car ran out of fuel on the last lap, and one car pitted for fuel on the last lap! She just doesn’t have any speed on road courses this year, which was her better type of track coming into Indycar.
Walt,
So they’re gaming it?
Its like TP. You have to have a new sign in name but once you sign in, you can become anyone you want. Your sign in name is not tied to your posted name in any way on either site.
Thanks for the Ladies update. Sounds like an off-day, too bad.
The Ladies of NASCAR. Sounds like the title for a sword and sorcery series of books.
Max,
Your Mom must not have raised any fools!
Anytime a Senator has to take an unpopular stand, it’s always one that’s retiring (like Bunning or Dodd), or someone with a few years for memory to fade before they run again!
I have an unrelated observation to make.
Just because none of the channels we normally watch had anything of interest on, we watched part of Glenn Beck and the Fox News Channel version of “news” called “Special Report” with Bret Baire.
I admit that the first half of the program was nowhere near as biased as I thought it might be. They even brought up a story about a Pennsylvanian Democratic Congressman and what he said of his constituents, but did not mention Obama’s “bitter” statement. [An easy cheap shot they went nowhere near, to my surprise and to their credit.]
But then I started noticing something in the second half of this very same program. Bret starting talking to some of their opinion people, like Charles Krauthammer and Juan Williams. Now, I thought that Rupert said his network was divided into the opinion shows and the news shows, and that the news shows were not biased at all. With my own eyes, I have seen this to be a lie.
The Ladies of NASCAR. Sounds like the title for a sword and sorcery series of books.
No, sorry. I hear that and think “Nude Pin-up Calendar.”
I agree tv sucks tonight, until the Daily Show!
I’ll stick to the Lamestream Sunday shows, Wayne. You can try Faux when you feel up to it!
Wayne, you have a one track mind. I immediately wondered if Frazetta was still alive.
Walt,
She made me figure things out. Plus I enjoy intellectual pursuits such as debate. Socratic method is my fav.
house,
The Senate Republican Conference stood in total opposition. I do not think that this will fade from people’s memories any time soon. It is Democratic campaign material GOLD!
Nude Pin-up Calendar of drunk redneck women on top of RVs in the infield at Talladega?
Geez, house, you put it that way and I almost have to wonder
“Nude Pin-up Calendar of drunk redneck women on top of RVs in the infield at Talladega?”
House, wipe your chin – the drool will ruin that shirt!
(I have a feeling House just looked at the livingroom wall where that very calendar is posted)
Kinda puts a stretch on the ‘Ladies’ part, don’t it?
house,
That is also right, but in the case of the electorate, that time delay is less than 2 years. Bush 43 and Darth Cheney have faded into the background and are all but forgotten. Sarah Palin and Michael Steele are the best hopes for the Democratic party in November.
My calendar has cat pictures, remember, the future-ex runs a pet store. All my presents come from there because of the employee discount!
Now, now, Gentlemen. There are, undoubtedly, many lovely women who could be found on that infield at Talledega. Whether or not they are the type who would be in the pin-up calendar is one question. Whether or not they are the type that we would want to see in a pin-up calendar is, still, another question.
humpf, I have never seen or heard of any posing type stuff that has anything to do with a woman being a lady. Fun is fun and you can keep your inhibitions to yourself. So there!
Wayne, ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’! (and who they are “be-holding”)
Ok, House I do believe you about the cat calendar -
apologies for having the incorrect/impure thought about you. You are a gentle man!
I’m not wearing a shirt either…
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And if the beholder has bad eyesight, he can ask the guy next to him which girl looks good.” – Woody Allen
Oooh, house. I see we’re getting “racy”.
Any man who can look at Danica in full NASCAR regalia and not dream, hell you might as well start shoveling.
Men can’t help it they are visually stimulated.
“I’m not wearing a shirt either…”
meoooow!
hooda says:
“Men can’t help it they are visually stimulated.”
ok, not gonna touch that one ;>
It was a stark and dormy night. I walked into the room and tripped over the coffee table. Couldn’t see a damn thing.
I felt my way to the bar and poured myself a rye. That’s what PI’s do when they can’t see. The name on my license is Buck. Buck Bacaw.
I struck a match to light my Lucky Strike and there she was. Decked out in NASCAR leathers. I burned my fingers.
(house, do hope I’ve not embarrassed you – that certainly was not my intention. You are a gentleman)
She stepped into the light and said, “Go fast, turn left”. I put on my best smile and asked, “Can I have a deep fried Twinkie?”
I just sent an e-mail to Faiz Shakir telling them I see no reason for me to return to TP. As I said,
Maybe I’ll check them out in a few months, assuming they implement their new commenting system by then. Otherwise, I’m going to look elsewhere for information.
Hoodathunk,
Did you ever read any Mickey Spillane?
house, only when conscious. Also sampled Raymond Chandler.
Instead she served him Hasenpfeffer made from the Leporidae who decimated his garden.
ebb, hard boiled detectives don’t eat rabbit. Or sushi. Or veggie dishes. Unless they are trying to get information from a rich heiress who won’t light their Lucky.
hooda, they don’t eat fried twinkies either!
Hammett, Spillane and Chandler – the trio to read!
—
Do you ever listen to Garrison Keillor
“Guy Noir, Private Eye”? A wonderful parody on the genre.
‘Putting fingers in ears’ Guy Noir isn’t a parody!
Hi Max and welcome!
Hooda, He’s Mike Hammer (just said that to get your goat – now ducking for cover ).
Guy Noir would like to be Mike Hammer. Sorry, but I love that genre. Its a bit of the past that will never be again but was fun while it lasted.
I grew up with the trio mentioned and have watched the latest writers try to match the style. Sue Grafton does pretty well. But tough guys have become blase. And tough chicks, while interesting just don’t cut it.
Hi Morris!
By Morris!
Interesting. He lost a lot of cred when he cited to rightwingnews, then left with a few snarky comments.
shrug
“I need someone to carry me back to San Francisco and burry my bones there.”
hooda, agreed about the genre. Few things better than nosing through a great PI book.
ebb, I have a character I write about who is a reasonably modern version of Hammer. I need to post at least a short on Story Time, just for fun.
“ebb, I have a character I write about who is a reasonably modern version of Hammer. I need to post at least a short on Story Time, just for fun.”
Please do.
I did.
Looking forward to reading it later in the evening – must dash.
It’s been great chatting with everyone!
[again, House if I embarrassed you my sincere apologies. It's just the flash in my brain when you stated your torso was bare! - ]
hmmm, maybe men aren’t the only ones who are visually stimulated.
Just in case morris is mmouth he may have learned a thing or two (note he didn’t use UC@Davis)
this on the TP flotilla thread at 8.10 pm:
“hmm, maybe men aren’t the only ones who are visually stimulated”
Hooda, you are correct!
To any and all Bradblog fans:
Brad Friedman is subbing for Mike Malloy all week. The Malloy program is on Green 960 at 9pm eastern live, (as in right now). You can also participate in a Live Chat at Bradblog, during the show.
Hi Y’all! Back from fishing at Lake Cassdidy.
Stopped into see the WitchyOne before she takes off for NH.
Showed Amber how to cast and retrieve, didn’t get any bites, but a good start on safety and using a spinning reel.
It was great seeing the great Lady!!
My experience at the UC (Santa Barbara) was that, in the poli sci dept, we had a few liberal leaning, a few conservative leaning and more than a few learned scholars.
But the better instructors tended to be the older profs, who tended not to profess or dwell on an ideology, but just taught us the skills of critical thinking and good essayship(?)…
I went to UC Santa Barbara as well..or should I say UC @ Santa Barbara?
conservatives just want to whitewash history because they know they don’t come out looking or smelling like roses. So they have to play victim and decry the whole liberal bias as if liberals are plotting to keep conservatives out of the ivory towers…
In so far as there are such trends in academia, the humanities tend to be the most liberal, engineering disciplines and economics more conservative. If I recall correctly, poly sci also tends to be more toward the conservative end of the spectrum. The really operative term in the above is “tends.”
but you wouldn’t know that for all the conservatives crying out there as if academia is 99.99% liberal…
Of course if you look at the trends out there, of course there are disciplines where the political trends tend to be more varied…but heaven forbid, professor, that conservatives act and talk based on facts…
I always tell a conservative when he starts moaning about the liberal bias in academia, then why aren’t there more conservative Ph.Ds out there who are willing to stay and teach at the universities? It’s not like there’s a liberal plot to weed out conservatives and to deny them tenure…
America is dying. It is being killed by greed and mass production. But the main thing is greed and stupidity. Greed on the top, stupidity on the bottom. Twenty years from now the US will be no different than any central African nation.
the thing is, he even said what his masters’ thesis was about…so he made it fair game…and I knew exactly what to do…if for instance, I had found it, I probably might have announced that I had actually found it online but leave it at that…Sure, you guys might not have believed me, but I wasn’t expecting to find it…
Stupidity on the bottom – it’s people who are fooled into blaming the top’s favored scapegoats that annoy the hell out of me. They cannot see that they are but pawns to be sacrificed for economic gain. They cannot see that those whom they hate would make valuable allies in fighting the class warfare…Those at the top learned this lesson, and continue to utilize it to this very day, it’s about time those at the bottom start learning as well…
kitty? The reason we are dying is because the average American would rather buy dirt cheap than pay a bit more for something local they can know. People have been sold that cheap is good. People buy cheap because they can only afford cheap.
It is a nasty cycle the big companies feed.
that too…but the fact is we are divided by categories that have been imposed on us as well…
and your argument I cannot argue with…because everytime, we talk about corporations and taxing them, the right always counters with rising prices and corporations passing on the costs to consumers…
and we need to flip the big corps the bird and say, I would rather pay a few cents more for meat purchased locally from farmers I trust than your factory crap. And if I can’t afford to buy it, I want to talk with the farmer and see if we can make some kind of deal.
I, for one, will not buy any meat product from a grocery chain. I have at least two local sources who do not deal with the factory producers.
Good evening everyone. Doing a quickie drive-by post. Fun-filled holiday weekend here.
Back to the grind tomorrow.
Hope you all had a good one.
Glad I dropped by to see the meat discussion. I don’t sell beef, just feeder cattle, but buy from friends whose burger is so pretty it could make me try steak tartare. It doesn’t even cook down, so that $5.00 pound of burger is able to compete with the grocery store when you figure 6 burgers from the pound, and the taste is so much better.
Now if you will forgive me, I have this thing that is bothering me. A TP troll posted this and I repled yesterday:
OutstandingInMyField says:
Martha V. says:
Join the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and many more for this non-political event that pays tribute to America’s service personnel and other upstanding citizens who embody our nation’s founding principles of integrity, truth and honor.
Well, I just had to find out what the Special Operations Warrior Foundation was. It appears to be a legit organization, but they’re not really endorsing Beck’s little party so much has Beck has said he supports them. There is also this, from the foundation’s website:
“All contributions made to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) will first be applied to the costs of the Restoring Honor Rally taking place on August 28, 2010. All contributions in excess of these costs will then be retained by the SOWF.”
Glenn and Sarah need help paying for their rally.
The more I think about this, the more it bothers me. Some of you may remember that O’Reilly clown speaking at a fundraiser for a rape victim. This strikes me as a similar situation. This appears to be a well regarded 5013c who is about to get into trouble for advancing a political agenda. What should I do? I’ve been on the board of an historic preservation charity that received a world of hurt when we tried to educate folks about the effect of zoning ordinances and land use plans on land of historic significance. I fear getting involved with Glenn Beck will likewise cause a lot of questioning of their 5013c status and enormous accounting expense for these people. Should I try talk to this charity about the repercussions of this, or am a naive type and they already know, but don’t care?
I’m sorry this is so freaking long.
Might be a little early to give up on them. Even if they choose not to listen to what you say, by saying it you force them to invest emotional energy in setting aside your words that could otherwise be invested in evangelizing for the likes of Beck and Palin.
Doubt once created does not go away, and the energy invested in suppressing it is energy that is not being invested in causing damage elsewhere.
I’m back. Anyone here?
How was your journey, Zooey?
Long and tiring, ebb.
Looks like a busy day at the Zoo.
Hi, Max!!
Then you’ll sleep well tonight and be refreshed for the working day!
Lordy, I hope so.
Glad you have returned safe and sound!
Thanks, Ebb. I sure was a lot of driving.
My dad’s in rough shape, but he was enjoying his visit with an old friend from high school. She’s a very nice lady.
Does your Dad live alone?
Your visit probably made his day.
It’s amazing what we think of as ‘little things’ – such as a short visit – can bring happiness to our loved ones.
Dad has lived alone since mom died almost two years ago. He started up a pen pal thing with this lady when he got some reunion thing in the mail. I guess she used to live near him back then.
I he wanted my sister and I to meet her. I was seriously uncomfortable, but she’s a nice lady and I’m pretty sure she’ll be leaving for Ohio very soon.
Can only imagine it was a bit awkward.
One doesn’t expect a parent to be ‘interested’ in anyone but the other parent. The picture just ‘doesn’t look right’ otherwise.
My Ma died 22 years ago and not one day goes by without a thought and a ‘thank you’ to her – where ever she maybe.
Yes, it was very strange. It’s possible they will just remain pen pals, but if they don’t, I guess I will work it out.
I miss my mom a lot.
I guess I better head off to bed. Back to the old grind tomorrow.
Thanks for hanging out for a bit, Ebb. Goodnight.
Goodnight!
Oil Advances Into Lake Pontchartrain (video)

Hi Zooey
Damn. I didn’t get to meet Morris…
