Desert Bighorn Sheep on the Colorado River, Arizona.
One of those in the right place at the right time moments, I came around a corner to encounter these shy and wary bighorn sheep.

The one on the right looks as surprised to see you – photogenic!
They may be shy, but I certainly wouldn’t want those great big curved horns coming into contact with my sprinting buttocks!
I wouldn’t want to butt heads with one!
I love sheep! Thank you for shooting and posting this amazing photo, Raven!
Kewl!
They look like teenager big horn sheep.
What’s up with your avatar, Raven?
The sheep on the left is a ewe, the one on the right is a ram. And yes, they do look rather young. Slipping away from the herd for a bit…
Just a funny character on a road sign, oddly they used a spaceman as logo for a marina at Elephant Butte Lake. It may have been the closest they could find for a scuba diver, don’t know.
Bah… Ram… Ewe…
Bah… Ram… Ewe…
To your breed, your fleece, your stock be true.
As any shepherdess would tell you, a good ram is hard to find and always appreciated
Do all rams have the same sly smirk this one seems to?
Woolly boolly…
Just the “good” ones, Raven
“That’ll do … “
Acknowledged.
I’ll stick to less suggestive creatures in the future.
I appreciate all of the creatures you post, Raven … Even those that “suggest” …
