Palin On Pakistan And Bailout – Be Very Afraid

Every time Sarah Palin opens her mouth, I’m finding it more and more, scary that John McCain picked her. With so many other women-who are more qualified-McCain wasn’t thinking about our best interest-only winning the election. Her absurd answers in the form of multiple talking points crammed together, tells us, she not only doesn’t understand the question, also, she will be of no help finding a solution.

Sarah Palin fielded a couple of questions in south Philadelphia last night. This is going to cause the McCain Campaign to have a Pakistan problem. All because a local student asked about foreign policy.

“How about the Pakistan situation?” asked Rovito, who said he was not a Palin supporter. “What’s your thoughts about that?”

“In Pakistan?” she asked, looking surprised. “What’s going on over there, like Waziristan?”

“It’s working with [Pakistani president] Zardari to make sure that we’re all working together to stop the guys from coming in over the border,” she told him. “And we’ll go from there.”

Rovito wasn’t finished. “Waziristan is blowing up!” he said. “Yeah it is,” Palin said, “and the economy there is blowing up too.”

“So we do cross border, like from Afghanistan to Pakistan you think?” Rovito asked.

“If that’s what we have to do stop the terrorists from coming any further in, absolutely, we should,” Palin responded, before moving on to greet other voters.

Palin shouldn’t have said “that out loud”, according to John McCain who chastised Sen. Obama for that issue-at the debate Friday night. If this is a foreshadow of a McCain administration it will be just as riddled with secrecy as Bush and Cheney.

This morning was no better. Sarah Palin had coffee at a gourmet market and breakfast restaurant and was joined by four Blue Star mothers. A question by one of the press about the bailout.

Palin made it clear that she was then going to concentrate on the Blue Star Moms, “Bailout? Ok? Then I’m going to talk to these gals whose sons are also in the service. But, thankful that John McCain is able to have some of those provisions implemented in that Paulson proposal to have more sound oversight,” Palin said. “Taxpayers aren’t going to be assumed to be called upon to bail out so I’m glad that John McCain’s voice is heard and his leadership too.”

Directly after that answer, the press was escorted out for 15 minutes and then re-positioned to a staircase in the middle of Di Bruno Bros.

Her answer was complete nonsense, she is using catchphrases again. Palin’s events are normally heavily protested in Philly, but this one was not advertised. Here is the response she received when a few customers realized who she was.

Three runners entered the shop and realized that the GOP Vice-Presidential nominee was there one man started booing and a woman stormed out and shouted a vulgarity.

The next administration is faced with a set of challenges like nothing we have seen since the depression. Sarah Palin has shown to be unqualified for the position of Vice-President. How did John McCain think he could pull this off? In these times of serious issues in the US, for John McCain to have chosen so unwisely, shows how flawed his fundamentals truly are.
