R.I.P. Stéphane Hessel

Stéphane Hessel has passed away during the night. The Holocaust survivor, member of the French Résistance, diplomat and author inspired the “Occupy” movement with his pamphlet “Time for Outrage” in his later years. I saw numerous interviews with him and greatly admired his intelligence, sense of humor and humanity. May he rest in peace.

  1. RIP, Stephane. Your courage and inspiration empowered more people than you could have imagined. You will be missed, but not forgotten.

  2. Here we go…. . They are going to wait for ‘God to inspire their choice’? Yeah whatever. Bunch of old mysogynist bigots desperately trying to exert power over people and claim that’s ‘God’s Will’ – they can all go f**k themselves.

      • I don’t know if you got my post the other day but I mentioned oxygen.
My grandfather had migraines and they put him on oxygen and it helped out a lot.

        • Yes I’ve seen that and will mention it to my doctor. It’s a bit of a problem getting it here. I have all kinds of malformations in my head, which among other things is messing up my breathing. So your solution may well be the right one.

          • Aviators oxygen or go to a dive shop (not a dive bar)
A welding shop also sells pure oxygen.
The doctors make a huge profit on “medical oxygen” which is BS.
Type in pilot oxygen supplies and you should have no problem.
I also practice “dog breath aroma therapy”
I lay on the floor after a rough day and let my dog lick my face.

            • I don’t have a dog. Will hubby do? 😆

But thanks for all your advice, I haven’t thought of that, I’ll check.
