  1. I had noticed that someone posted this (the dance montage) recently on Facebook, but I hadn’t had a chance to watch it. Unfortunately, Adobe Flash Player has a tendency to crash on my computer, so I’ve only seen part of it. Regardless, just the IDEA of Christopher Walken dancing is funny. πŸ™‚

    • Those are great!

      Right. Grab the camera.
      I’ll just wait.

β€’ Duck follow the Corgi — crack up!

β€’ Damn cute turtle exiting the egg!

Are those baby bunnies that dog is guarding?

  2. Giving the gravitational waves discovery a theological bent:

“The prevalent theory of cosmic origins prior to the Big Bang theory was the β€œSteady State,” which argued that the universe has always existed, without a beginning that necessitated a cause. However, this new evidence strongly suggests that there was a beginning to our universe. If the universe did indeed have a beginning, by the simple logic of cause and effect, there had to be an agent – separate and apart from the effect – that caused it. That sounds a lot like Genesis 1:1 to me: β€œIn the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth.”

So this latest discovery is good news for us believers, as it adds scientific support to the idea that the universe was caused – or created – by something or someone outside it and not dependent on it.”

    • Yah but where did their creator come from? Those of us who genuinely subscribe to “the simple logic of cause and effect” would really like a sensible answer to that biggee. Some verifiable and comprehensible data points would be a good start, but I won’t be holding my breath in anticipation.

  3. Bill O’Reilly says cable news outlets are over-saturated with the missing plane story to take the attention off IRS and Benghazi. Yup, he really said it.

    • Yes, but geo-political events in Russia-Ukraine should probably be the focus – the most dangerous time in Europe since Bosnia.

    • I miss the days when the rightwhiners were saying that Benghazi was just to distract us from ACA and the 2012 election.

  4. Green-white-checker restart at Fontana, Danica was 18th, on the lead lap. And she drove it to 14th! Good finish!

Kyle Busch beat Kyle Larson to the checkers. Yesterday, Kyle Larson beat Kyle Busch in the Nationwide race!

  5. So, movie buffs, a question. On the still image of the Walken dance video he looks like he’s dressed up like a gangster. What’s that from?

  6. 25 years later, oil spilled from Exxon Valdez still clings to lives, Alaska habitat

That was then and this is now (we don’t learn from our past. And we don’t need regulations)//

Oil spill cleanup efforts continue off Texas Gulf shore
