Revolution!

or

Rebels You Shun

We had a little war today;
Nobody came,
Nobody came,
To keep the forces of evil at bay;
Ain’t it a shame,
Ain’t it a shame.

We sent out the word for millions to show;
You wouldn’t know,
You wouldn’t know,
To take back our country to the days of Jim Crow;
We didn’t know,
No one would show.

We waited and waited until we got tired;
The gubermint won
The gubermint won,
Then we went home without a shot being fired;
But we’re not done,
But we’re not done.

We’ll be back again, just you wait and see,
Beating our drum,
Beating our drum,
Next time Obama’s the one that will flee,
Millions will come,
Millions will come.

We had our little war today.
But no one showed up.

  1. I look forward to a campaign season where a fossilized turtle disparages a gorgeous, long-haired, beautiful woman, who has already won a statewide election and is headed to Washington as the next Senator from Kentucky!

  2. Of course Alan Grayson wasn’t chosen by Pelosi to be on the Benghazi probe.

    Cummings, Smith, Schiff, Sanchez and Duckworth, are the five members participating.

  3. “Here at the Bundy Ranch we are very excited to announce the soon to be released Cliven Bundy Commemorative Silver Coin. Our family has teamed up with Bullion Shark, LLC to produce this special edition 1 troy oz silver coin in order to help raise funds for our cause. A portion of all coin proceeds will used to support our current efforts to defend liberty, freedom and our constitutional rights. If you want to own a piece of history, you can purchase one of these coins, which are available now.”

    Grifters gotta grift.

  4. Oh gawd, I had a soaping “friend” making a total idiot of herself on one of my FB posts this afternoon. Thankfully, I missed most of it, and my libbie friends — including BnF! — whacked her around for a while, although no progress was made. Surprise!

    I think I managed to diplomatically tell her to stop commenting on my posts. Normally, I don’t care if someone has a different view on things, but this woman always takes such a nasty tone and is completely fact-free. 🙄

  5. Ed Schultz is leaving radio, starting the Tuesday after Memorial Day.

    He’s going to do a one hour show that he’ll put on his wegoted website. Free, thank goodness. 🙂

    • Doesn’t surprise me. Half his shows are ‘Best of Ed’ repeats anyway. He either doesn’t have time for both the radio and TV show each weekday, or his heart isn’t in keeping it going any longer. Mike Rogers has been his most recent regular sub. The ad revenue is probably too low to pay everyone to keep doing it anymore.

      I’ll be most interested to hear what Nicole Sandler says about this tomorrow.

      The real question is, who is going to replace him in that time slot?
