Sunday Roast: Memorial Day

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

    • What to do when the hotdog vendor shuts your stupid ass down…

Plan B: Walk down the street to the next hotdog vendor.

I know, Fux Nuts don’t think that far ahead. I’m living in a dream world.
But srsly, thank goodness they don’t! 😀

      • I wonder what Fox News thought they’d gain by ambushing a hot dog vendor? Why didn’t they think to just ask one beforehand if he wanted to be on TV. Arrange it ahead of time, even give the guy a couple of minutes to phone someone and tell them he’s going to be on TV and to bring more viewers to Fox News. But no, they walk up to a hot dog vendor without warning and try to get him to do something on live TV. I’m gobsmacked by the complete lack of forethought in doing this silly segment.

I realize F&F is infotainment, not news. But it makes the network as a whole look incompetent. Does Roger Ailes understand that?

          • Lips and snouts.
The other guy was just selling hot dogs like he does everyday.
