The Watering Hole, Monday, October 17, 2016: Cute Baby Animal Videos

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting some serious overload with trying to keep up with the latest political news, so I’m taking a break from it. No politics from me, just cute baby animals.

I think this beats the dramatic prairie dog hands down.

If only they stayed that small. And didn’t shit.

He was certainly getting into the groove of this haircut.

I know Jane would just love to be able to raise one of these cuties, and I’m sure I’d loved to be mauled by one.

That makes me feel better. I hope it makes you feel better, too.

This is our daily open thread. Feel free to discuss cute baby animals, politicians holding cute baby animals, world leaders taking their cute baby animals for a walk, or even cute baby animals seen at the ball games over the weekend.

  1. I’m going to bed with these images roaming around my grey matter. Thank you for the gift Wayne.

  2. How can I post a picture that I have taken?
I have some interesting bee pictures that are cool to look at

  3. I received word today that my grandson died in the North Carolina flooding. He was 22. 😦

I do hope that zooey is safe.

  4. Apparently the storm that hit Oregon a few days ago is in Colorado today. Winds — gusts up to 70 mph — have pushed a grassfire near Westcliffe (about fifty miles from here) into the forest that covers the front range Wet Mountains. 13,300 acres in size, it’s smokey as hell outside right now, visibility greatly reduced. It’s also dry as a popcorn fart around here, and the San Isabel NF is there to provide LOTS of fuel if the winds keep blowing as they have been.

Hoping things settle down and some rain falls before the flames become visible out our front window.

Sure am glad that climate change is nothing more than a Chinese hoax. If it was real, October fires might really . . . oh, wait. Ummm . . . hmmm.

  5. No post for today, just had to put this up in the public interest
Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke claimed the presidential election is “rigged” at a rally for Donald Trump in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Umm. Sheriff? Aren’t you an elected county official? You know, the elected county official who is responsible for managing and conducting said election? If there’s massive fraud, aren’t you the least bit culpable? Aren’t You? …..Crickets….

    • He also has a sworn duty to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Undermining the integrity of our elections without proof violates that sworn oath.
