So, I’m involved with this D&D style game (a variant on Pathfinder’s “Reign of Winter,” if you must know) and one of the things I’ve been pulling out of my … the internet, are musical themes touching on elements of our recent game play (shared in a private group on FB.) So that’s where I’ll be drawing from.
I loved the teaser/trailer that this was attached to. Mag7 became one of the few movies I saw in the theater that year, and have since purchased on Blu-Ray.
Some of it is overtly cinematic, w/o having any movie behind it. (By the way, listen for the time changes in this. It switches — TWICE! — from 4/4 to 3/4, and then back to 4/4. Musically speaking, that’s pretty interesting and radical shit):

It is. They looped Johnny’s original lyric into a new musical and rhythmic background.
Some of it was never intended to be cinematic. (But imagine a lengthy chase scene in an urban area.)
