Sporadically Gnuz Special

Howdy Critters.
Sorry for the lengthy absences, but life, family and work seem to take up 105% of my time these days.

Not to mention the miserable state of our dis-union.

But, here’s another episode of Sporadic Gnuz, pried from the cold dead hands of the Guttenberg digital press.

I was eating breakfast with my 10 year old granddaughter and I asked her, “What day is tomorrow?”
Without skipping a beat she said, “It’s President’s Day!”
She’s smart so I asked her, “What does President’s Day mean?”
I was waiting for something about Obama, Bush, or Clinton, etc.
She replied, “President’s Day is when the President steps out of the White House, and if he sees his shadow, we have another year of Bullshit.”
You know, it hurts when hot coffee spurts out of your nose.

  2. “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?”

Someone on Quora asked “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England wrote this magnificent response.

A few things spring to mind.

Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem.

For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed.

  3. “As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”
